Peach Festival Schedule of Events
All activities on festival grounds are free to attend ALL DAY!
Shuttle information: Parking will be available at the designated spots located on the North and South sides on Dan Reneau Dr on Louisiana Tech’s Campus. Shuttles will run from Dan Reneau to The Dixie Theater continuously from 11am to 11:30pm.

Kids Alley: An Art Experience
Kids of all ages can enjoy hands-on art activities and crafts on West Mississippi Ave., along with interactive performances and demonstrations on the Kids Alley Stage.

Kids Alley activities are provided by: 4-H, Cub Scouts - Pack 45, Girl Scouts, LA Tech Panhellenic Council, Ruston High School- Robotics Team, LA Tech STEM, Junior Auxiliary of Ruston, Lincoln Parish Library, Magic Memories, and North Central Louisiana Arts Council.

Peach Hunt May 27th-31st
Find a mystery card hidden in Ruston and you’ll have the key to win up to $750! Clues will be released every day at 10:00 am on the Louisiana Peach Festival Facebook, Ruston radio stations, and the Ruston Daily Leader. The winner must take a selfie at the location of the Peach Prize to prove authenticity. $500 will be awarded to the winner or $750 if you’re wearing this year’s festival shirt when you find the prize. Happy peach hunting!
Peach Culinary Crawl May 26th-June 1st
Get your appetite ready for all things peachy during the
Peach Restaurant Roundup! You can expect peach-inspired drinks, eats,
and treats at participating Ruston restaurants.
Peach Baby Photo Contest May 30th
Think your child is the cutest, funniest, most photogenic, or serious? Submit their photo into the Peach Baby Photo Contest, sponsored by The Children’s Shoppe. Download or pick up a form from The Children’s Shoppe or Experience Ruston.

The North Central Louisiana Arts Council will again host its popular Peach Art Exhibit during the festival. The exhibit features drawings, paintings, photography, 3-D art, and mixed media from artists of all ages. For more information, visit NCLAC website!

Join us for the inaugural Peach Fest Pickleball tournament in the City of Ruston! With separate divisions for men and women ages 17+, and mixed divisions open to ages 13+, there's something for everyone! Don't miss out on the fun – sign up to register by May 27th!

Run for the Peaches 5K JUNE 1st 7:30 a.m.
Come kick off your Saturday festivities with Ruston High School cross country! This fantastic team is hosting a fun out-and-back 5k starting and ending at Trinity United Methodist Church! Overall and age group awards will be peachy! Come out to support the Ruston High School XC team and start your day in the peachiest way!

Peachtree Paintings JUNE 1st 9AM-6PM
Paintings, sketches & pop-up shop by local artist Lacey Stinson.
No 9 Books and Records, Ruston’s premier indie book and record store, presents an exhibit of Ruston artist Lacey Stinson’s renowned peachtree and landscape oil paintings on canvas and oil sketches on paper. Painted from life, “en plein air,” primarily at Mitcham’s Peach Orchard, Lacey’s work graces many homes and collections in Louisiana. There is also a special pop-up shop with peachtree prints and cards, along with all the strange and wonderful books and records at No.9. Come in for a tree, a book or both!

2024 Peach Parade JUNE 1st 10AM
The Peach Parade is back! Floats may begin lining up at 9:00 a.m. at Ruston High School. The parade will start promptly at 10:00 a.m. The parade will begin by exiting left from the RHS parking lot, follow Everett Street to West Alabama. Take a left onto West Alabama followed by a left onto North Monroe Street. Follow North Monroe Street to the South Service Road. Take a left onto the South Service Road and then left onto James Street heading back to RHS parking lot. Parade attendees will be encouraged to view the parade on West Alabama and North Monroe Street.

Ruston Antique Classic Car Show presented by the Antique Car Club

Park Haus Peach Cookery Contest JUNE 1st
The cooking contest will be held in conjunction with the Louisiana Peach Festival on June 1st. Dishes should be dropped off at 10am, judging will happen at 11am, and winner will be announced at 12pm! Then dishes picked up at 1pm. Judging will happen behind closed doors. Contest will be limited to one category (Peach Pie/Cobbler) for two age groups (Adult/Youth). Park Haus is donating a grand prize for each age group!

Queen Dixie Gem Peach and Princess Peach Pageant June 1st 6:30PM
Queen Dixie Gem Peach will be open to any girl living in and attending school in Lincoln Parish who has completed 8th, 9th, 10th, or 11th grade. Princess Peach is for residents or someone who has grandparents in Lincoln parish and is between the ages of 4 and 6 by May 31st.
